I've been so busy with school that I haven't been able to post regularly, and or even to remember about my blog. I might start a vlog, like I attempted to do on YouTube, but it was a flop. I wish I were more creative when I was on camera, but alas, I am not. I like that word, "alas." it's a great word and serves a great purpose. Haha not really. It just makes what I'm saying or writing sound fancy.
I'm so glad that spring break is coming up, starting tomorrow for me, even though I have homework to do, as well. Couple of tests. I will be busy as usual, but not quite as busy, because I won't have classes. I get to sleep in on certain days! :)
Posting regularly is highly over-rated anyways. There isn't much about posting regularly that makes sense unless you have a seriously devoted following. I've always considered blogs to just be the random thoughts of the person writing them. Their frustrations and whatever else they feel inclined to share. While I know there are other things that can come out of a blog, it really just seems to be far more effective when tied to random thoughts and feelings.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I feel that blogs are a sort of online public journal, in a sense. Most of the stuff I post is about my personal life and what's going on with my right now in the present.
DeleteIt's true that that is what most people do. I, however, have never really seen the point in blogging before. In truth I don't like this medium for my writing. However, I will try to continue to use it, as I can see the benefits. I don't know if I'll ever make it anything really personal, though.
Delete-nod- yeah. I know what you mean. I try not to be too personal, but sometimes it happens. I was looking through my posts here and I realized that I am insanely positive when I'm online. Its a little too positive.
DeleteDo any of your blog posts get overwhelmingly positive or negative at times, or do you think your posts are just a blend of the two?
haha, yes they do. I have one post that is about a day in our class that could be considered very negative. I just needed to vent, though. I think that there is a definite change in people's attitudes in the online world. So much so that it begins to get a little scary at times, but at the same time, I believe that it happens because it is their one escape from all the social rules that they are normally forced to deal with.
DeleteThats so true! I completely agree with you on that.
DeleteAlas, it is time to comment on your post. HA HA HA. Well, not to sure what say about this post...did you get all your homework done? :)
ReplyDeleteHaha nope! I did nothing over the break as far as homework goes! It's crazy. I spent most of my time worrying about pampered chef and getting things done for it. And then the few days after my show/party thing went by so fast that I totally spaced everything!
